Main characteristics: Excellent mechanical properties, high hardenability, uniform strength achievable through quenching and tempering treatment, high plasticity, good toughness, good fatigue resistance and low-temperature performance, capable of withstanding alternating or impact loads, average cutting and welding performance, sensitive to flakes, slow cooling required after forging.
Main Applications: Suitable for manufacturing high-strength components with large cross-sectional areas, shaft components, used in large steam turbine low-pressure rotors, engine rotors, and also used in pressure vessel butt joints and other components. Widely used in heavy machinery and mining components subjected to impact and fatigue loads, as well as in petrochemical and high-pressure equipment.
Purity: Complies with the requirements of GB/T1299-2014 and GB/T10561-2015 standards, or customized according to customer's technical standards.
Microstructure: Conforms to the requirements of GB/T13298-2015 and GB/T13299-1991 standards.
Gas content: [H] ≤ 1.5ppm, [O] ≤ 20ppm,
Specifications and Dimensions: Round bars ranging from φ100 to φ400, with module thicknesses from 100mm to 400mm, and widths up to 1000mm, or produced according to customer-specified dimensions.
Heat treatment: hydrogen expansion annealing at 650-700℃, Brinell hardness HB≤ 220.
Quenching at 850℃±10℃, with a hardness of HRC38-42 after quenching, tempering at 200℃±10℃, with a hardness of HRC32-36, and high-temperature tempering at 520℃-650℃, reducing the hardness to HRC25-32.
