Main characteristics: Highly heat-resistant hot work die steel, excellent toughness and ductility in all directions, high resistance to thermal fatigue and wear, suitable for nitriding, good polishability, good hardenability, good dimensional stability, better isotropic properties than conventional melted steel, and also suitable for cold work dies.
Main applications: Used as mold cores, inserts, mold cores, nitrided ejector pins, etc. in die-casting molds.
In terms of extrusion molds, it is used as mold core, mold pad, flow block, etc., as well as hot pressing molds for aluminum, copper, and magnesium
In the field of plastic molds, it is used for die-cutting edges, hot shearing, wear-resistant components, etc.
Purity: Complies with ASTM E45 Method A: A sulfide, B oxide, C silicate ≤ 1.0, D spherical oxide ≤ 1.0 standards and GB/T10561-2015 standard requirements, or customized according to customer technical standards.
Microstructure: It meets the requirements of GB/T1299-2014 standard and NADCA#207-2022 qualification standard in North America.
Gas content: [H] ≤ 1.5ppm, [O] ≤ 20ppm,
Specifications and Dimensions: Round bars ranging from φ100 to φ600, with module thicknesses from 100mm to 600mm, and widths not exceeding 1300mm, or produced according to customer-specified dimensions.
Heat treatment: spheroidizing annealing at 840℃-860℃, with Brinell hardness HB≤229.
Ultra-fine Grain Treatment: The microstructure meets the NADCA#207-2022 standard or GB/T1299-2014 standard, with microstructures ranging from AS1 to AS4, band structures ranging from SA1 to SA3, and grain size meeting the GB/T6394-2002 standard, with a grade of ≥8.
